Our bulk builders bags of seasoned hardwood firewood, consist of primarily oak that has been dried through the summer ready for immediate use. These seasoned firewood logs, also known as air-dried logs, are ideal for use on open fires, wood burners, multi-fuel stoves and chimneas.
Each log is cut to approximately 20 - 25cm and then split to allow them to dry more effectively.
These builders bags of hardwood firewood contain at least 90% hardwood. Due to being produced alongside our softwood production, there may be a possibility of some softwood being present.
Available in loosley filled builders bulk bags (aproximately 1m3) and loosely filled extra-large builders bulk bags (approximately 1.6m3).
To encourage air flow around your logs, we recommend that you store them in a raised log store or on a pallet to keep your logs away from moist ground. We do not recommend stacking them up against a wall or placing them on grass, as air won't be able to flow and the logs can become damp.
For ease when building your fire, we recommend our boxes/nets of kindling and our Ecofire Natural Firelighters.
