Kiln Dried and Exotic Firewood

Our kiln dried logs are dried to an average moisture content of 20%. We use just three species in our kiln dried firewood, ash (the king of firewood) , oak and birch. The mixture that we use is specifically aimed at ease of lighting (birch) and longevity (ash and oak). If you light the fire with the lighter birch and add ash and oak once established then the fire is both easy lighting and long lasting!

Kiln dried firewood is used where a reliable fire is required, removing the vagaries of moisture variations etc. Our kiln dried firewood is used in Pizza ovens the length and breadth of the country and in homes and restaurants where reliable fuel quality is required.

In addition to the above kiln dried offerings we supply Sun Dried African Firewood which contains as little as 0% moisture after drying in the uncompromising African sun for many seasons. It is farmed in a sustainable manner and provides much needed foreign exchange and income for one of the world's poorest nations. When using this rock hard, super dry, super dense firewood you should be prepared for it to burn for seriously long periods!
